On September 2, 2025, a tree planting activity under the Summer Volunteer Program was carried out at Haroorays Secondary School, located in Haroorays District.
The initiative aimed to promote environmental stewardship through volunteer participation during the summer season. The tree planting event was attended by H.E. Mustafa Mohammed Omer, P
resident of the Somali Regional State, H.E. Salmawit Kassa, Minister of Tourism, along with other senior officials.
The activity reflects continued efforts to encourage community involvement in environmental protection and to strengthen awareness of sustainable practices among students and local communities.
